The Home Builders Political Action Committee (HBPAC) supports candidates or current office holders who support the integral role played by residential construction, both to our community, and our economy. The PAC seeks to promote quality, affordable housing; promote ethical and professional standards for the industry; and act as a responsible citizen through active community involvement.
Because over 250 members contribute each year, HBPAC reached BIG PAC status in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. At the Big PAC level, we can donate DOUBLE the amount to candidates who will fight for our industry. Your contribution to become a member of the HBPAC enables us to make campaign contributions to candidates throughout our nine-parish Capital Region that are smart-growth and pro-development.
Through donations to our PAC, HBA|GBR will have a more tangible influence in local affairs. We have become increasingly proactive rather than reactive in our efforts thanks to your support and the efforts of our Association’s leadership.
