In the heart of our community, a transformative project is underway – The Lakes at Harveston Foundation House. This initiative is more than construction; it’s a commitment to building homes, enriching communities, and changing lives. 

The Foundation House, located in The Lakes at Harveston, HBF Visionary Donor, and crafted by Dupree Construction Company, HBF Founder Donor, is serving a noble purpose – to support the Gardere Community Christian School. The school is an impactful institution in the Gardere Community serving families and children in need.

Foundation House Origin

The HBF was founded in 2002 to support the charitable efforts of the HBA. Our mission is to raise funds to assist families and children in need. Since its establishment, HBF has raised over $20 million for local charities! Our HBA members give back to the community by donating materials and labor to build charity homes.

Our Foundation houses are sold at market value to support the mission of the HBF. The Inaugural Foundation House was built by Bart Waguespack of Waguespack Homes. Bart eagerly agreed to pioneer the first Foundation House project, committed to raising a record-setting donation amount. The house was finished in 2021 and sold to a couple as their first home before the building process was even complete!
